Thank you for visiting! My name is Alexis (or Lexi) and I am a full-time Elementary Art Teacher, an artist, and a health and fitness enthusiast. Aside from my love of teaching and art, I love food! I spend much of my time in my kitchen and my gym; which is located in Boston.
This journey started in 2012 when I decided to make major lifestyle changes to achieve a happier ME! I changed my eating habits, began working out regularly, and began learning more and more about health, fitness, and nutrition. This has been life-changing. Prior to this change, I was 10-15 pounds heavier, unhealthy, and unhappy. I have grown to value my health immensely and therefore am constantly learning. That is why I am also studying to become a personal trainer. I love to learn!
My passion is to share my clean, healthy, and allergy-free recipes to inspire others that a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to have limitations, and can be exciting! I develop creative recipes (that are simple to prepare) while also blogging about seasonal food ideas, health and fitness tips, and all things in-between. Through this lifestyle I have achieved a balanced, happy, and healthy life!
All the recipes that you find here are gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo-friendly, and soy-free. In addition, some are vegan-friendly as well. I hope you stay a while!
