Vanilla Coffee Protein Shake

Looks like summer is here and I am certainly ready! 90 degrees here in Boston today. I started off my day with a refreshing shake that contains my morning coffee, protein, and healthy fats (don’t be afraid of fats, you guys!). Oh, and it was DELICIOUS.
Banana Mocha Protein Smoothie |
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 8 oz. cup organic coffee, place in fridge for 10 minutes
  • 7 ice cubes
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or my favorite Vegan powder)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Optional: 3 drops vanilla stevia or sweetener of choice, to taste
  • Combine all ingredients in blender
  • Blend until creamy
  • Taste and add additional sweetener if needed
  • Note: If your shake isn’t thick enough for your liking, add more ice or add the other half of your frozen banana.
